Bristol Bespoked. Photographs.

June 12, 2011

There was some great stuff on show, Ricky Feather’s track frame was stunning, as was Donhou’s road bike built for Tim of the Daily cycle and let’s not talk about the Dura Ace equipped Brother track bike. Feather and Donhou were also awarded prizes for best Best track frame and best Utility bike respectively, as voted for by the exhibitors.

All in all a top day with some amazing things to see and also plenty of ideas if you were thinking about a build, which is pretty much me the whole time but sans cash.

Bristol Bespoked
are already calling for exhibitors for 2012 so start pestering your local builder now, so we can see next year’s show being twice as big!

More pics of the day here at my flickrspot.

Very Well Re-Up.

June 15, 2010

Well, not a re-up as such, just that I spotted that Tokyo Fixed Gear still have some stock of the Spinwell ‘Very Well’ T left on their newly re-opened webstore.

So everyone who has emailed me requesting one should promptly head there, as I have none left!

Lust.

Looks like Max at TFG has been busy. Busy tapping away into Ebay because he recently managed to snag this absolute stunner of a TT bike off of there. Just look at that rear mech… You gotta love a bit of drillium! Gosh, jealous I am.

Like it? See more here.

Tokyo Fixed Gear Open…

November 26, 2009

See here some sneaky pics I stole from the interweb from what I believe to be last night’s preview launch.

Looking good Max, congrats!

Apologies for the size of the images… Arkitipintel would not let me increase them.

Dia Compe Anniversary.

September 21, 2009

Kevin aka Veezy my work homie yesterday alerted me to these. He himself is on the lookout for a new wheelset although at three bills ( £300 ) these may just be a little out of his price range!

Sorry Kev.

A rare treat from Dia Compe; The 60th Anniversary Wheelset, only 200 sets built, each one individually numbered. Nice.

Sit your ass down!

December 4, 2008

A bunch of sweet saddles just in at the Tokyo Fixed Gear pop up shop down in the big smoke. Especially feeling the white Cinelli but damn that sh*t would hurt on the daily grind, on an aluminium frame too… ouch! Am I prepared to pay that price for style? watch this space.
